Two Questions

I grew up watching Clemson football but now live in West Virginia. Still a Clemson fan and to see the Tigers whenever they’re on TV up here.
Two questions…
From what I’ve seen, the defense still looks ragged but seems to be getting slightly better. Is that the general perception most folks on this board have?
And last year the defense had better talent with more experience. ... Is that correct?
Just wondering if I’m off base from what I’ve seen.

I think you're on track w both comments. others may disagree but I gave them two weeks after FSU before I said anything. They did better in both and stopped two radically different offensive types of attacks. I think the youth shows there is an upside and the can keep improving. The secondary is a concern. That is mostly experienced guys not playing as well as they had previously. NOt sure why that is.

Sorry. Had to leave for awhile. Thanks for the response 74TIGER. I was mainly interested in the assessment of the talent from last year to this year. It looked like the way the defense smacked Va. Tech around that there was definitely talent last year on that side of the ball.

safeties have struggled and they are 3 seniors so go figure. Like you said they have regressed. Our corners have struggled at times too but they are still pretty young with only Breeland starting some last year. I do think that with Peters now getting to start that position has strengthened and hopefully Blanks is moving to safety full time now and we can get one of the younger LBs in to replace his previous spot at SLB. Not trying to knock any players, just think if something is not working then changes need to be made and BV has shown that to a point so far.
