It's good but a dang snooze fest. Hearing the voiceovers from Tom Hanks and alike is kinda neat. I was gonna start episode 2 tonight, but at 2 hours, I figured I'd just watch football instead.

Watched ep1. It was good. I knew most of the story but learned a couple of things related to pre-war.
After Sunday’s episode we both commented that the narration was boring.
I had to look up his Cival War series afterward because I couldn’t remember Shelby Foote’s name. Was surprised to see that John Hartford was in 8 or 9 episodes.
I’ll continue watching because I’m a history nerd.

I saw a review from a noted history writer that I respect and he said it was very dry and boring. He said he's done after an episode and a half.
I've recorded them but I'm leaning towards not watching right now. But I may try to start them, not sure.
