We have literally thousands of examples over the past decade of Trump claiming "I know more about _________ (grass, nuclear power, wind, water, electricity, vaccines, fucking little kids, geopolitics, the blacks, etc.) than anybody."
It's such an inane thing to claim, and I doubt anybody besides the most dyed-in-trailer-park MAGAs believe him, but....he believes it. Because he's a raging narcissist. And we have all just accepted it, and ignore it when it happens. How did we get to a point where this is normalized?
This is at least part of what Newsom is trying to point out, whether it's landing or not.
