Pretty obvious that if you are a Democrat you can do whatever you want, just ask Sam Brinkman, but you better never change parties and/or attempt to upset the status quo or they will make up as much stuff as needed to make you pay.

actions in federal and state courts in the 30 years prior to him running for office in 2016. No candidate of a major party has had anything approaching the number of Trump’s courtroom entanglements.
EVERYBODY knew what he was by the time 2016 rolled around. Some ignored it and here we are.

As anyone who knows a shred about the construction business knows, there are nearly constant lawsuits filed against the builder.
‘Green’ groups filing environmental impact lawsuits.
Neighborhoods filing zoning violation suits.
Commercial district businesses filing disruption of commerce lawsuits.
Contractors filing suit for non-payment despite performing substandard work quality.
Subcontractors filing suit against contractors (the builder is ALWAYS named a co-defendant) for non-payment despite poor work.
City managers who file permit violation suits (which magically get dropped when the builder arranges for big contributions to the mayor &/or governor &/or key city councilmen &/or key state legislators).
Etc, etc, etc.
Builders who then operate a business in the buildings that they constructed get sued regularly when an elevator stops running and strands a rider, toilet gets plugged - overflows and someone’s clothes gets soiled, HVAC malfunction, etc etc etc.
The more buildings that get built and operated, the more suits get filed.

at least with the illegal possession of bathroom décor, er documents
have others before him committed crimes? sure. but try telling the cop, well other people have sped here before. Doesn't matter.
What baffles me is, hey ok, maybe there were some good things during his presidency, but there is no way he can win in a general election. Even if he pulls off that miracle, he is going to be ineffective in getting anything done. He is going to take down the Pub party all by himself, leaving little or no resistance to Dems pushing thru policies. That will be his legacy.

You are a real estate attorney. Please see my post above about lawsuits that get filed against builders and against organizations that operate buildings.
Trump did both … numerous times … during his private sector life.
