Good coaching results in blowout wins over NC State, wins over Duke, Penn State. So in the NCAA viewpoint it does t matter if you go 1-6 versus tournament teams like NC State did in Q1, just don’t lose to lesser teams. That does not make sense.

Clemson had the worst non-conference SOS and one of the easiest conference schedules... Plus 2 Quad 4 losses, and a loss to a terrible Sakerlina.
Makes complete sense.

But they got destroyed 3 times by a team that lost to a 3 loss team. I am fine with Clemson being out. I just don't see how NCST is in with 3 double digit losses to Clemson.

You can argue NET, SOS, etc but at the end of the day 2 teams from the same conference, with similar records and one team beats the other all 3 times with an avg margin of 20 pts. There should be no other questions asked. We are living in a world of analytics and refuse to actually use our own eyes and brains to make decisions.
