So conflicted right now. What went on behind scenes we don’t know?

If Cade this good in practice easy win last week. Did Dabo override Streeter? Anybody think that Streeter isn’t as bad of an offensive coordinator now because plays are looking like better calls or are you thinking it’s all Cade bailing him out.

Cade is making Streeter look like a great play caller. I think it was DJ limiting the playbook. I think Dabo and Streeter had some blind faith in DJ coupled with some so-so play by Cade when he was put in during bad situations. KB and TL played out again…. No one will ever know, but tonight Cade has 4 drives with 3 TDs and one FG driving the field with one minute left and one TO.

Expects to win now. Receivers actually catching some balls. We legitimately look like a top 4 team tonight. Not saying top two but we easily look like 3 or 4. And frustrating thing we survive the NDloss. We really just had to win last week. Then if we had a big win tonight we are in. Game isn’t over but for the time after the first two drives to end of first half we easily look like top 4

My thought is that Dabo’s number one concern for the season was pass pro from the OL. DJ got hit at the end of his drop back so many times this season. Maybe he didn’t want to put a freshman through that and trusted DJ’s size to help limit turnovers and injury. But DJ was a sitting ducked and begged D’s to blitz him. Cade obviously has more mobility and can maybe keep a defense honest to where they can’t freely blitz but you don’t know that till you prove him in those scenarios. That’s all I can rationalize.

I wonder if those who hated on Streeter all week think maybe he’s not really that bad. I get he had some call in dj starting but they are calling a good game tonight. Yes Klubnik making them look good but the plays are nice calls. That ain’t all a freshman putting himself in great position on calls. All credit in the world to him for extending plays and dropping dimes.

The team should not be determining who the starting QB is. Dabo and his coaches, who are the professionals, and paid very well, should be the ones deciding who will win games and advance the program. That’s their job. You don’t leave it up to emotional, 19-21 year olds. Quit excusing the coaches.
