Trouble selling ACC Championship Tickets

Dec 4, 2021, 7:00 PM

I have tried all day to lower my price for 6 tickets and it will not let me lower below $65, but there are others listed on Ticketmaster for $46!

No one cares about Pitt in the Carolinas and Wake has such a a small following. I'm interested to see how empty the stadium will be.

My husband is a coach in NC. He received an email about free tickets to the ACCCG. He said that never happened when Clemson played and I assured him it never will. Not gonna lie, hurts not being there.

Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

I was able to post mine for $50, but there is no way anyone is going to buy them.

Dec 4, 2021, 7:26 PM

My family is disappointed they would not sell, but I warned them when I knew it would be Pitt vs Wake.

I was really looking forward to a weekend in Charlotte....but I could not convince anyone to go to this game with me. ??

Ticketmaster only lets you sell at a certain % below actual face. This is because they are the ticket provider and need to hold the value at a certain level,

However you can sell on StubHub for any price.

I had no Trouble selling ACC Championship Tickets

Dec 4, 2021, 8:28 PM

I’ve gone to the ACCCG in Charlotte each year Clemson has been there except last years ND game. They refunded my 23 tickets for that game.

This year in August I bought 24 tickets in the 200 level and one ticket donated to a veteran-I didn’t see the Tigers going 9-3! I take my adult children and grands and three nieces & nephews & their children. We are spread over SC & NC and make the tailgate an annual family get together. We even had Spud stop by with his famous vinegar pie for the Virginia game!

With Wake & Pitt in the ACCCG I was sure I wouldn’t sell many of the 24. However, I was able to sell all 24 seats. I sold about 12 on the ACC app (Ticketmaster) by keeping my price below what others were asking. The other 12 tickets were sold on Craigslist by posting in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Pittsburg. Selling point is I was selling on Craigslist with NO FEES. Sold the last two this morning. I actually made $60 over what I paid for the 24!

FWIW - the ACC app makes eticket transfer super easy - enter the buyer’s name and smart phone number and click on transfer and it’s done.

Go Tigers!
