at combine or just pro day in Clemson ??

I see that Xavier & Ruke had really good times and Tyler as well yesterday.

Dallas Turner and Payton Wilson impressed, would like to have seen Trotter pull a sub 4.5

No big deal anyway, tape is where you learn about players ability to play.... a 40 time with no pads on is nothing more than a beauty pageant to see who can run fastest and does not always translate to impressive on field and padded up speed.

Actually, XT was disappointed with his time. He said both calves were cramping up prior to running at the combine. Said he is looking forward to pro day at Clemson to improve on his combine time. Said he will be better hydrated this time.

Wow, now I am really looking forward to pro day in Clemson.

Cannot help but wonder what he was expecting to run if not for the calves?? Around 4.5 maybe ?? Crazy for such a large man

IMO Trotter ain't gonna hit below 4.5 in the 40

I could see him hitting somewhere in the 4.5s tho with a great take off. I think he's more likely to hit a 4.6 than a 4.4 if we're being honest.

However, if he did hit 4.4s dude could sneak into the 1st RD or at least solidify himself as an early round selection.

Doesn't matter. #### Butkus was arguably the greatest linebacker of all time and he could not break 5.0 in the 40. It is mostly irrelevant. They look for 'Football Players."
