Transfer Candidates

Who do you see potentially transferring out after this season? My best guess are:
Beaux Collins. Could see him transferring somewhere for a senior season where he can improve his draft stock a bit.
Jake B. I’m pretty sure he was interested in transferring out last season but stayed after the Riley hire. Think he’s frustrated and wants to see more targets.
Ship/Mafah. This one is difficult to predict. I think there’s a big chance Shipley comes back next year. If that happens, Mafah transfers. If Shipley leaves for the draft/portal, Mafah will stay to be a true RB1.
Defensively I don’t think we’ll be hurt by transfers as much as we will be by losing players to the Draft/Graduation. Could see a few surprise returners I feel like. Carter/Wiggins are both gone for sure. Trotter feels like his draft stock has fallen a bit and could come back. Mukuba could definitely benefit from another fully healthy year in college.
Who else do you think?

I think maybe another running back for lack of playing time. Maybe an offensive lime man who is not playing much.

None of THOSE guys.
I really don’t see many major guys transfer out.
Usually…..Players who transfer out leave because of something personal, not about leaving for more success.
Look. Fans and everyone else underestimate the success that Dabo can still have. Recruits see it, and his own players see it. They don’t usually leave unless there’s something going on like that.

Try watching the games.
Briningstool has been targeted like crazy the last two games; he got a national player of the week award after the Miami game.
Collins has been targeted, and with good success, this season.
Neither Shipley nor Mafah are going to transfer. Both get plenty of opportunities, and will continue to get a bunch of carries next year.
BTW, which among the Gamecock players are NOT going to transfer next year? FL Atlantic, GA Southern, and GA State are now big into getting portal players on board. Looks like an upgrade for those frustrated Gamecock players.

But let's not pretend that there's not a risk guys don't make that decision. Right now based on the outgoings seniors & incoming recruiting class, Clemson would be 2 over on scholarships w/o early NFL departures or kids hitting portal.
Post the other day had rumor about Shipley or Mafah (maybe both) transferring after this year, & you could maybe look & go "I see the reasons why" should that announcement go down. Covil was also rumored in that post as well.
I could see Beaux making a move back out west for his final year if he chose to do so, despite fact he's 1 of the most heavily targeted WRs. I'd venture more to 1 or 2 guys in the trenches on either side that hasn't been getting significant PT (example - Patterson at DT).
Let's just maybe apply the old saying of "don't count your chickens until they hatch" to see what actually shakes out with NSD, portal entries, & the like.
