I hope the renovation of Jervey Gym for volleyball isn't another mistake in the renovate vs. build new decision making. I think renovating Littlejohn instead of building new was not the best decision. I haven't seen any pictures for the new volleyball renovations but am having trouble picturing anything other than lipstick on a pig.

I was convinced there was a curly slide included in the facility. Disappointed that it was only stairs. Other than no curly slide that facility looks amazing!

Obviously kids care more about money in there pocket than amenities. Seriously though, these kids are poor little entitled persons that obviously get taken advantage of so just stop putting money in making sure their college experience is WAY above the average everyday student. I don't know why these player choose to be taken advantage of. Obviously we owe them for them blessing us with their choice to grace our favorite school. Let's weigh the options, quit football don't go to college hope you get a job that at least pays for food on the table OR get a free education, free board, free medical, free food and millions invested to make sure your personal college experience is mesmerizing. Simple choice to me but I could see where a kid today being hesitant to choose that college experience and being taken advantage of. I mean who doesn't think your company should split their profits with you. I mean we could have broken down the cost of every individual player to a university to show them that hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars is invested into them OR we could act like we have no rules, they are poor advantage-less kids and have shady Collectives and bag men lie cheat and steal to get them to choose their school. We are lost as a society and it will never get better until most of us grow a backbone. Look I went off bc of the cost invested into these projects and just remembering all the people that claimed these student athletes are being taken advantage of. Sorry but college football today rubs me the wrong way and I never thought I would lose love for this game, but I have and I'm almost to the point I don't even care anymore.

The term “student athlete” is one that sets me off these days. Having to “re-recruit” annually is such a crock. To top it off, we have to listen to ADs asking the fan bases to donate to NIL groups at sporting events to stay competitive. When does the madness stop?
