The funniest was when Mizzou won the SEC East and went to the SECCG first two seasons they were in the conference. The talking heads said it would take decades to catch up to rest of the SEC. Heck Texas made it in last year fresh off being in the Big 12.

Missouri's 1st year in the SEC they finished 5th in the East at 2-6 in the conference, with wins against 0-8 Kentucky and 1-7 Tennessee (in OT). East Champion Georgia beat them 41-20 in Columbia, Mo that year. This was after finishing 1st or 2nd in the B12 North in 7 of the previous 8 seasons.
In 13 years in the SEC, Missouri has had 4 seasons with winning conference records (and they're 1-12 vs UGA, btw).

Which wasn't what the OP said. But since you're adding context, they got blown out in the SEC-CG both times. They only got there by lieu of their schedule - neither of their regular season West opponents had a winning conference record either year. They played the two worst West teamss in 2014 (A&M and Ark) and lost to Georgia that year 34-0. Over the course of both of those seasons, they only beat one SEC team with a winning conference record, which was Georgia in 2013 during Mark Richt's 2nd worst season as coach.
Here we are over a decade later and they're still playing catch-up.

I’ve said this before but I wouldn’t mind playing Alabama again in a playoff game. I hate to say it but I kinda miss our little rivalry we had back in the late 2010s.
As for an sec team we haven’t played against in awhile, I would choose Florida. The last time we played them was in 1961. So it would be nice to play an Sec team we haven’t play against in over 50 years.

But my outlier is A&M. They seem to always have top recruiting classes and end up pooping the bed thank to dumbo fischer, but I think Elko is different.
This is the first year I think A&M might actually be a playoff contender and it would be a good matchup as both schools are land grant universities with a large military history.

Back when TB was coach we had Ole Miss and Vandy on the schedule in the early 10's. Not sure why they were canceled but we were playing Auburn a lot during the teens.

I think Stockton is more than capable of getting UGA deep into the playoffs. He'll need things Beck didn't have - a decent run game, receivers who could open and then catch the ball when they did.

Which coach or team do I least like or which coach or team do I most respect?
Lane Kiffen could use a Clemson taught lesson in humility...
LSU can be pretty mouthy and we do owe them one, but I am hoping we make payment real soon. Tenn used to be mouthy as well so beating them always brings some special satisfaction.
Never bad to beat UGa (same as LSU) but one also has to respect their current/recent status.
Fla, Texas and A&M are solid programs one could always be proud to have won against, but Bama, even if down a bit, is still the SEC premiere program and winning against them is almost always worthy of respect.
I"m thinking Kiffen or Bama as I am assuming there is no chance it even could be the yardbirds.
But if you open it up to any team no matter the conference I'd say Ohio St. FOr my part, we never dont owe them an absolute beating.
