I agree. It has only been a few months since an unspeakable tragedy occurred. His team is steal healing. They obviously want to win but that is not the most important thing for them. It takes time to heal. They are lucky to have a man like Tony leading those young men. Next season will be a better indicator of where they are from a football standpoint.

Uva came extremely close to "upsetting" nc State. They showed progress in the game. They just didn't put a whole game together. Their offense had some good plays. Defense stopped state on several series. They just didnt finish. Except for the penalty on the fg attempt, it would have gone to ot. Coach gets at least one more year

You would like for him to get more time, especially after the tragedy, but people up there are already looking for a change.

Life is tough. I have lost friends. Not to a shooting, but the manner doesnt matter, once they are gone. Its past time to pull up the big boy pants and get on with living. I still remember these friends, but life is for living.
I hope, as a former Clemson Man, Elliot gets a bit more time. I think he showed progress last night. Uva has had good years, but they arent a football school. Yes, they were in the acc championship a couole years ago, but that was then. That team isnt playing today. I believe Elliott can turn it around, if he has enough time. Thats just me.

Deservedly so. He made some really bad coaching decisions in critical moments last night, and then his players totally lost their minds in the last minute of the game when it really counted. Reminded me of an old Tommy Bowden team.

Game likely could've gone to OT if the QB hadn't decided to pose for the crowd. Gave nancy st 15 more yards on the kickoff.
