all the weather concerns in most of the Tigernet concentrated areas. I thought the wind wasn't supposed to blow like this until March or early April? BRRRRRR..... Everybody, please keep safe and warm.
On a more personal note, I pray for guidance for my local church, and charge. All three churches voted yesterday to disassociate from the United Methodist Church. We have "set our feet upon the path" so to speak. May that path be the one that God truly wants us to be on.

We left a PCUSA church about nine years ago. At one of the annual conferences, a group instituted worship of a "diety" named sophia. Have read the Bible completely three times and haven't come across that individual. Also the church changed the charter to conform to the edict that church property was owned by the denomination. As a result, many churches who left PCUSA were forced to pay large sums to retain ownership or file suit in court. Several were successful. Will be interesting to see if that is a similar issue with the UMC churches.
