He saw that he was 30-40 pounds lighter and was in over his head. He only weighs 240. A little light for a D Lineman imo

Eh, he's an edge guy through and through. WDE or pass rush specialist. Those guys can be 240. See Will Anderson. You just can't expect them to win with power.

Work out warrior, weight room freak prototypical size of a situational, 3rd down speed rusher off the edge in either scheme(4-3,3-4)–Likely very raw and a liability vs the Run–
Possible reason for departure: Could be hysterically distraught over FSU failing to meet the standards required for eligibility for invite to the CFP-

This is prime example of clemson recruiting only guys who fit the culture ? So what’s the culture anymore, these kids have zero commitment.
Time to hit the portal if not next year expect same results or maybe worse. It takes time to develop talent.

There is no way in #### with DE#s, lack of snaps for Denoff, Patterson, etc. they leaned on the true fr. because he may be a project but they already know Patterson & Denoff are at best projects. Rumph hasn't been here long enough to know the dudes name. Come on, it's not the end world but it sure as #### was not orchestrated by the staff UNLESS>(☆there was a fringe, special teams gunner from Daniel HS that wanted to come on board☆)

Why you say that? He was a highly rated recruit. Rare for any dline to start as a freshman. We were absolutely depending on this position. This is one position we're thin at.

If he was good enough to start we would have used him especially the last few games. He may develop into a great player but another team will pay to develop him.

The facts are if everyone on TNet is going to be upset with transfers every year, it’s going to be a long December and Spring because this is the new norm. It is what it is and move on. If the player feels their best option is to move on, so be it. It’s not TNet’s decision what they should or shouldn’t do. I know this will be unpopular but that’s where the game is today.

farther along than the coaches do, or at the opposite end, maybe realizing he is in way over his head? If there was a position where playing time would be up for grabs, I would think it would be at defensive end.
