Stuckey was fired. There were rumors that Stuckey was the reason guys wanted out or weren’t going to stay. Hard to know the truth of what went down but Tyree decision was definitely prior

N.Dame had, at best, average WRs for 2023 season. It would not surprise me that C.Stuckey was canned because of poor success in recruiting.
B.Collins will be, given N.Dame’s (mediocre) standard for WR quality in recent times, possibly their top WR for 2024 season.
I wish he had stayed with us, but can understand now why he wanted out of Clemson.

Plus the A$$ says that he will get noticed more at ND, and I'm guessing that he feels he wasn't getting noticed at Clemson. Hopefully one day he will figure out that when you want to be noticed wherever you're at in college FB, he will have to do special thing at his position to get noticed. Average WRs can be found on every team in college FB, but it's the ones that will hardly ever drop a catchable ball and can get yards after the catch...
When the truth is being told, the ones that will be noticed and talked about, they are the ones that will work extra hard at practice, and the ones that will work hard on their own time to sharpen their skill when no one is watching!!!! Sammy Watkins was that type of WR that Collins could learn from if it's being noticed that he's after, and he didn't need a big name school to have done that....

Your correct. However, WR recruitment and development has been an issue for years now. QB the same. The recruiting and development have to show up on game day. Injuries happen so depth is an issue. 2023 should have been able to win 10 games with players now.

It's been pretty clear since he's been on the field: Collins is no Watkins or Tee Higgins and he was/is never going to get there. Unfortunate, but it is what it is. Better that this now creates another opening for someone new to step in who has something to prove.

Some NIL money too! But Clemson has $2M for position coaches. Wonder why player conversations are at a highpoint? This is probably the tip of the iceberg. Dabo knows it based on his comments about the portal and tampering with players. Pay for players or else! Guess the money means more than family?

We do pay if the player is worth it. I wouldn’t say, based on his career, that Beaux is one of those that is.

So let’s say you a pretty good WR and somebody offers you a million to play for them
Don’t say they can’t do that because they do it anyway. You tell your buds on the team and they are like go get the cash. He’s Probly not gonna play any pro ball so this is Probly his best chance for a payday from football. I don’t blame him and like it or not he gets to play for the most famous program in college and will get more publicity there. I’d do it

He really seemed to be less than our average receiver. We’ve had lots of fabulous receivers. BC was not in that group. Now, maybe, DJ being such a flop hindered Bo’s career, but I’ve seen nothing impressive from him at Clemson.

Him. He seemed just barely good enough to play for Clemson. At any other time in the last 10 years,his skills would not have gotten him on the field here. I know he started all games this year, but that doesn't change his skill level, which is average, non-explosive and no down field threat.

Notre Dame seems to be taking full advantage of its ACC schedule to scout future Irish portal transfers.
Maybe they like ACC transfers because they know they can get them into school with their high academic standards.

A QB who couldn’t get it to him because he couldn’t get enough time from his OL to give Collin’s time to get open. And even when he was open, Cade would still dish it underneath for 3 yards. Go find a team with a QB and OL. Makes sense to me.

I am glad we are not playing Notre Dame next year because we don’t need the drama of the NBC announcers talking about Beauxbeing a former Clemson player. I wish he had stayed because we need a big receiver on the outside. We need to get one from the portal.
