Sure, if you are a coot fan that's all well and good bc women's sports is the only thing you have to be hang your hat on in the last 100 years

As for teams like Clemson who are in the football national championship conversation every year, our concerns are focused on how this deal would effect the future of college football

Well since the announcement has absolutely nothing to do with FBS football, it doesn’t affect the future of college football at all.

Notice: nothing said about FBS or D1 Men's Basketball.

This is only for non-high revenue generating sports.

And that’s why we will be forced to watch 10 Sec and big ten teams with a group of 5 and the winner of the big12 or ACC whoever is ranked higher play in the big ten/sec playoff each year.

same old. Women's basketball unit payouts to schools will go up based on the enhanced money, plus…lots of new live championship sports that did NOT previously exist.

"The agreement continues exclusive coverage of sports included in the previous ESPN agreement – including all rounds of marquee NCAA Championship events (women’s basketball, softball, volleyball, gymnastics, baseball, FCS football, and more) – and adds coverage of the Division I men’s and women’s tennis team championships and the national collegiate men’s gymnastics championship. It also includes full rights for the men’s National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT), as well as international rights for the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Division II and Division III also add coverage on ESPN platform of championships in men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball."

All that mumbo/jumbo bs. Renegotiate with the ACC and this time do not take advantage of the idiots. Not nice.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This deal isn't with the ACC, it's with NCAA for Champ events.

This has nothing to do with ACC's deal with ESPN. For that blame the ones with full control for Clemson's current and future, , be mad at Clemson's president and board for signing onto the deal if you are unhappy.

This confirmation that ACC leadership is more stupid

than NCAA leadership - NCAA only signed up for 8 years. So, the NCAA's contract will expire, and the ACC will still be stuck in their POS contract.

How could anyone with a brain sign a contract for anything for more than 10 years! We'll see if FSU can wiggle out of this ridiculous one-sided deal.
