Wow, you know nothing about Women's sports. Carolina was 22-0 and National Champion in Lacrosse which is a huge sport for women.

Must be nice to gleefully celebrate money losing activities. Title I9! It won’t last forever.

And here I thought college athletics was meant to develop young people and not to make money.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah let's quit making investments in things that make it

more attractive for students, and helps market our school to potential tuition payers. Seems like a solid plan for growth.

But a parking lot??

Re: I understand that groundbreaking ceremonies are symbolic

Dec 8, 2022, 6:30 AM

Have you walked from that location to Little John or DV? In 2007 they over sold my parking lot or mis-parked everyone and had to park there for a game. It is a good haul from anywhere. I certainly don't begrudge parking.

It's been several years since I've been on campus.

Cat on a tin roof, dogs in a pile,
Nothin' left to do but smile, smile, smile!!!!

Conveniently left out "Some" at beginning of sentence.

My family and I have enjoyed the trails through the longstanding woods for many decades. Certainly several existing trails will soon be covered by buildings and concrete. From the artist renderings I can envision one trail along the banks of the lake.

Nice buildings and real progress for women's sports, but many people will also miss those peaceful woods that have been available to the public for so long.

It would be nice to incorporate Jon Morgan's name into this since he was inspirational to starting the rowing team. Jon also designed the Clemson ring seal we see all over. Sadly Jon recently lost his battle with brain cancer.

The noise in that g'breaking photo is something else.

Looks like it was printed on 60 grit sandpaper.
