Disrespected??? Cmon Travis, I have had respect for you all along the way, always thought highly of you, but you are going to go and throw that away? You hit a fade pass on a back up corner with your best receiver getting away with a push off to catch it. That should have been Offensive PI, but it wasn't called.
Had respect for ya, and your team all the way up until your players went running on the sideline after OT flipping the middle finger off at the crowd, and until you went and talked trash when there was nothing to say. Noones disrespecting you, but yourself.

They made really 1 offensive play on the 2nd half/ OT......
After getting waxed the previous years, I guess he felt vindicated and had to run his trap.
I keep hearing about his ability but I just don't see it. I think he is over rated to begin with.
Overall just like the Duke game, the scoreboard is all that matters in the end.

one the one hand, self-absorption, self-promotion, and fabricated victim narratives are all ubiquitous to the point of nausea in our culture. For a player to lack the self-awareness to realize that his athletic competitors are just guys doing their best like he is, making their own assessments and judgments accordingly, and not just serving as characters in his self-perceived story, is pathetic.
On the other hand, this cultural milieu seems to end up taking the punch out of certain words. It seems that some now use the term "disrespect" more casually, almost like it was a synonym for "they weren't afraid," which is different than saying they actually treated you wrong.
Or maybe it's a combination of both. Lame either/both ways.

No disrespect. Man coverage is hard, our corners were playing at a high level. If you don’t want to see man coverage you have to beat it consistently. I don’t know how that is disrespectful but just a boy that didn’t get an easy game. He did win but it might have cost him the Heisman trophy, if you cannot throw into man on man with huge receivers you have no business being called the best.

I imagine the defensive players on the teams FSU will play this year will be eating this up like candy. If FSU plays a team with DBs that are physically matched well with their receivers, imagine the disrespect he'll feel then

The defensive players have no reason to be disrespected. The defensive problems were caused entirely by the stupidity of Wes Goodwin. Only God knows why he decided to rush just three players in the 3rd and 4th quarters. That's where we lost the ball game by giving Travis all day to locate a receiver and he miss a lot. In the 1st and 2nd quarters he rushed more than 3 and the results were notable. He lost the ball game and should be fired or demoted for his terrible decisions.
