I've been over Brad for about 3 years now, but I was a Brownell fan for his first decade. After giving up on Brad, I can and will say that Brad and the team did have one of their best teams and seasons this past season. IMO I think they got screwed over by the selection committee, so ill give them an excuse that the letdown of being looked over for the NCAA tournament is probably the reason they walked into the NIT with their confidence rattled, and that got them knocked out of the NIT before they knew what was happening.
Hopefully that was a lesson learned on how not to let yesterday's disappointment be the cause of losing your next game the way that they did bc nobody looked to have their heart in playing that 1st NIT game, and it was all over when they looked up....
They have a new team to start this season, and I'm hoping that they have a better season this season. Go Tigers, do your best at being the best Tiger you can be!!!

PJ, Chase, and Girard are a very talented nucleus. If those guys are healthy, we will win a lot of games. We also seem to have good depth. I look for Schieffelin, Godfrey, Wiggins, and Dillon to take another step this year.
We need our injured players to get well, especially Jack Clark. A healthy Hemenway and Beadle would certainly help too.
If we can consistently go 10-11 deep in our rotation, we will be in great shape.
Team chemistry is good. Players have bought in. I believe we have a solid staff. This should be an NCAA Tournament team.

Last season's team should have made the NCAA tournament. But Brownell was the coach.

Said it last year and saying it again this year. We've got a good team. Good enough to win the ACC. It's all up to Brad and team to make it happen. A deep run in the tournament too.
