I was going to post the same thing. I have been wanting to see Clemson in the Rose Bowl. Can you imagine Tiger Band marching in the parade? This would be a bucket list trip for sure.

Seemingly every week they struggle to put teams away. And its not like they are playing a murderers row. Whatever, we'll see......

We don't put teams away the way that most Tiger fans expect we should is bc Dabo will give our backups as much playing time as possible. He has leaned and I think that most Clemson fans should have learned also that in post season team are banged up and needing for backups to come in the game giving the starters a much needed break from the tough physical contact they have been going through all season long, and that would be a very hard thing for the coaches to do with backups that hasn't had many snaps throughout the season bc if Dabo and the coordinators can't trust the backups to go in and perform close to what starters can do, but if they don't trust they can do that it won't happen.

I to love seeing our guys blow teams out, but I also understand that before those backups can be trusted to play close to how our starters play, they must get into the games that the starters have won so to get live in game snaps with the rest of the team...

I totally get the need for the backups to get playing time. But can they get better faster? Lol

It wasn't too long ago when our backups didn't play much differently than first team. That's how we were different than a team that could start a great 11. Or 22. We had 50 that were solid. What happened?

This!

I have no problem with the backups getting reps but do they have to play so poorly? If we have to rely on this reserve defensive unit which often gives up 21 points a quarter in a playoff game we are in serious trouble! Hopefully it won’t come to that!

With all these complicated possibilities, I wonder if a team will one day choose not to play in their conference championship game? If they would be kept out of the playoffs or be given a bad pairing with a loss, they might say...no, thanks, if that assures them a better slot in the playoffs.
