I think he was one of few SEC affiliated homers that was saying Clemson would beat Bama last year. I think he usually gives a fairly educated guess on his predictions. I don't understand anyone really having issues with Tebow unless you hate his religious platform speak but you would have to hate Dabo in that same regard.
Pollack and Tebow usually kind of beat their own drum and don't just use the SEC bias for predictions.

He was on the Bama wagon last year saying we didnt have a chance. On the megacast, there is broadcast with guys calling it from the sidelines and the look on his face when we got the pick 6 was priceless.
I do agree that he is generally a class act and usually reasonable.

basically he is saying we havent been better than the teams we have beaten but we use the underdog roll to rise above much better teams...not shocking from an sec nut hugger though

Isn't that pretty accurate? Dabo seems to relish the underdog role - or at least projecting that. I read a quote from him yesterday that "ain't nobody good," regarding the health of the team.

Ummmm, I keep forgetting that our 2 previous championships were a fluke. The only reason we win is because Dabo gets the team to play above themselves, even though we have played against, and beaten, the 2 greatest teams ever put together (bammer last year and oh st this year). One of these days, these cats are gonna wake up and realize what they've been missing.
I wonder if John Wooden realized what he had going on after he had won his 2nd championship.

What we all need to remember, there was a reason that all the teams that were #1, #2, and #4 kept changing throughout the weeks leading up to the final 4 teams that would be matched up against each other. OSU, LSU, and Clemson stayed in the top 3 with the #4 teams losing and getting bumped out after Clemson was locked in at #3. But at one time when the playoff committee had Clemson at #5 waiting on the SEC teams to eat each other before they brought Clemson back in, and we were locked in at #3 with the rest above and below us changing every week until the end of the season. It was #1 OSU, #2 LSU, #3 Clemson, and #4 UGA up until LSU knocked a glorified way over rated UGA out in the SEC championship game, and OSU beat #8 Wisconsin in their conference championship game and lost their #1 spot to #2 LSU that I absolutely believe that was a plan schemed up behind the closed doors of the playoff committee in order to match the two best defensive teams up before the Natty bc they knew there was no way that Oklahoma stood a chance against the LSU offence without any defence. And that leaves SEC LSU to take it's best shot at either OSU or Clemson in the Natty game. If that wasn't the committee plan, then how was it that there was movement 3 of the playoff positions with everybody but the #3 spot that Clemson seem to be locked into. Yes I believe this years playoff spots were fix trying to get an ending that would profit the biggest sports show in ESECPN!!!
