We'll never know now but the Tigers might could have made the NCAA Tournament this year if wasn't for the 2 close losses to Notre Dame,14-13 at home in 2 OT's during the regular season and then todays 2 point loss in which they jumped out to a 4-2 lead in the first period and then the bad loss in the regular season at a not very good Louisville where they led 10-6 at the half but fell apart in the 2nd half and lost 13-12,the Cardinals finished the season at 8-10.It was the difference between a 14-4 and where they ended at 11-7.They'll probably be thinking about these 3 losses when they look back on the season

This match was a heartbreaking loss. Who knows what happens but we had some controversial fouls, especially the first half. Even at that, we were up 7-5 and in control. ND scored 3 quick goals the last 5 minutes of the half... one on a breakaway after we lost control of the ball. The equivalent of a pic 6. Very costly. Same as the first match with ND. That said, we're a team of underclassmen and a lot are freshman. The future is extremely bright. The uva game was closer than the score indicated.

I think if our name doesn't get called, and I don't think it will, it's that ugly loss to Louisville, like you said, we had complete control of that game. It was sloppy.

We would, or could beat a lot of teams that will get in. If this team sticks together and we keep some out of the portal, while picking up some more top talent and add some transfers, we can be a top 10 team. Definitely enjoyed the season and the margin is spot on the way you laid it out.
