This is such a special team and a special time in Clemson's history. What a great story for the future... You remember that time that...... These guys will remember what they ate at the White House and I hope they never take themselves so seriously that they cannot laugh at this.

They say he’s always been paranoid about his food, thus eats so much fast food because he trusts it. Three quarter pounders and two fillet o fish is his typical dinner (with the bread removed).

All politics aside, I appreciate the fact that he didn’t cancel and is still holding this event.
Although the fast food is an interesting side note, our Tigers get a rare honor and reward in getting to see the White House and meet the President.

Heck, they are in the White House with the President and their beloved teammates and coaches celebrating a National Championship. Trump cheerleading. I realize the people who run this operation had to cover the WH visit; that’s legitimate. But read the coverage: every last bit of it has been couched in terms of “Trump did this” and “Trump did that.” (Just look at the headline on this article we’re discussing.) I write for a living, and I can tell you this whole event could have been covered in a way that wasn’t Trump/Trump/Trump...they could have focused on the TEAM. In any event, this may be my last post; this kind of criticism is likely to get me banned.
