What a difference 55 years make. Games when I was growing up were park anywhere, eat at Dan's or The Clemson House before the 1:00 game, get in free and sit pretty much anywhere. Remember the great Jimmy Addison well and the pass he threw down the left side in front of the Clemson bench to beat UVA.

Why can't we do a throw back to this uniform

the one time we did a throw back it wasn't that great because they tried to replicate a leather helmet. This is a uniform that would still look good, although one of the reasons it looks good is that it has sleeves, which we have unfortunately abandoned.

I believe it was 1966..I was at that game but that's all I remember. I was celebrating with my buddies after returning home from Uncle Sam duty and we were three sheets in the wind.

Addison was closer to 140 than he was to 160. Heck we have lineman then who weighed 170something.
I don't want to say I am old, but I know a Converse girl who dated Jimmy. She likes it when I call her a Converse Girl.

Looks like (#15) Jackie Jackson and (#30) Jay Cooper as the running back and fullback.
