Really tough luck. I will always think that we would have won that first championship game with Alabama if he had not been injured.

That’s a tough break. He’s become a journeyman in the NFL so this could be career ending.

This is terrible news about Mack, we all know how the NFL treats their players with injuries, especially if it's for a season. By the time he has recovered, he could be traded two or three times before he is ready to play again, and he just got where he wanted to be close to home. Get well quick Mack, you will be in my prayers young man, good luck, and the best for you!!!!

Bummer, but at least he gets paid for the season. He was unemployed a couple weeks ago.

I am truly sorry to hear that. I hope that he has saved as much money as possible. His family story is one of the sadest that I've heard. His parents were immigrants I think from Haiti?? And have worked in the fields picking fruit to support the family his entire life. Pretty sure that he bought them a house with his first year salary. He's from one of the absolute poorest places in the US, Immokalee, Florida. The ESPN, I think it was, produced a tear jerking piece on him during the draft. I think it was called something like, Out of the Groves.

I wasn't aware of that, Thank you. I always thought, despite is NFL grade, another year at Clemson, would have helped him.
That said, many times, it's the team you start your NFL career that determines your longevity. Was Minn. really the best fit for his skill set?
