Yes sir got to know David when he was training to be an owner manager at waffle house in Greer. Extremely funny and nice guy. Will be missed!

I was a youngster, but I remember him and Buckingham, Cash, Campbell. Going to Littlejohn back them was a thrill for a kid and these guys seemed like Giants.
Young was a player and it's hard to believe he was 49. Hate to hear it

Sad to hear. Prayers for his family. Saw him between classes and got to travel with the team to the Sweet 16. I was in the Pep Band and have great memories of him and that team.

The Golden age of Greenville Co. High School Baketball. Young, Everick Sullivan, Merl Code, Shaun Golden, Shamond Williams, and of course Garnett. GHS, Mann, Southside, Riverside , and Byrnes used to have some epic battles in the old Peach Blossom conference. Packed gyms and buzzer beaters were the norm.
