Yep, but I think Syracuse has a bright future and Illinois is on the rise. I think Syracuse won 9 games and beat SMU, thankfully. The Illini upset the coots in a bowl game. They could both finish top 20 IMO.

Bama may stumble a few times since Saban's retirement, but Bama is one of those Blueblood FB programs that will recover and return back to the top of college FB once they've had the time to go through ever how many HC's until they find the right one like they had to do when they finally got Saban to come in and be that elite coach for them. They may stumble and fall a time or two, but they will make it back to the top...

Let's not forget where Bama was before Saban. Stallings won 1 title between Bear Bryant & Nick Saban but Alabama struggled for yrs. They will continue to get talent but won't be as good as the Saban Era. Go Tigers 44-16

Re: Georgia and Alabama, they both have five or fewer commits at this point and are out of the Top 25 on ESPN. Georgia is 26th in the 247Sports Composite and Alabama is 31st.
