Dang.. Ben Maller is one of my favorite sports-radio guys (it's a silly late-night ensemble show), but I can't agree with him here. He does like to play the curmudgeon at times, though, and was pretty critical of DW4 last season. In time Deshaun will prove him wrong.

To be one of the best qbs in the nfl. He will have a great career if he can keep his knees safe.

hmm..., and this is exactly what the "commentators" said about Deshaun when he tore his ACL while at Clemson. Then he gave the SEC a one-legged a## whoopin'. Then he won a National Championship. And then he set a few NFL records in his rookie season.... I look forward to the day when he'll be enshrined in the HOF in Canton. Geez…. Really, get over it!
GO TIGERS!!!

It seems people still think ACL injuries are some sort of career death sentence. This may have been the case 15 years ago, but with new techniques, surgeons are able to graft much stronger ACL replacements. Whether using hamstring or quad grafts they have you walking on the very same day. Not to say accidents can't happen but if you do really well with rehabilitation you should be good to go for a long while. Get it done Deshaun! Don't listen to the haters!

Ben maller is an idiot. When his promos come up in the morning while I'm listening to "outkick the coverage", I turn my car radio off for a few minutes just so I don't have to hear the words coming from his stupid pie hole. He's nothing more than a JA gas bag.

Had Maller done proper research before opening his piehole..

he would have seen that all of the knee injuries he's had occurred as non-contact, not because "his body can't handle the rigors of the NFL".

Even with a knee brace on he was one of the greatest QB's in college. I feel Deshaun is the type to keep himself in shape and he knows when to eat and what to eat. He also has a God who gives him strength. I don't doubt God or Deshaun!

So when was the last time DW got hurt when he was hit?? Both knee injuries were non contact injuries. One was during a college game when he planted his foot to changed direction and the other was during a Texan's practice in which he was not hit. As the Texan's coach said, DW knows how to avoid the big hit. He's way smarter than the average football player.
