The regular season is about the following:
-Getting enough quad 1/2 wins.
-Avoiding quad 3/4 losses.
-Positioning yourself for conference tournament seeding.
-Defining rotations/building team chemistry.
All of this building toward postseason play, most notably in the NCAA Tournament.

Good sign with acc getting 6. Still don't understand the love for Pitt. I guess the d1 losses really do matter. Long way to go but we'll get a higher seed. We still have 3 more good teams to play in order to bolster our resume. Fla st keeps playing well, that'd give us 4 chances.
Pretty much 8 gimmes left, so (and we won't) we could lose all 4 and still get an acc bye. Probably legitimate looking at 24-6 . Not bad coming off a historical season and a tough ooc schedule.

With four straight losses, Pitt is most certainly playing themselves out of the tourney right now. They have a really balanced team. I think they will get better down the stretch if Capel can control his anger.

We've lost some games we shouldn't have lost. We have to get better on the road. We have all of the pieces to go far into the tourney but have to stay focused on the game we are playing. We need and can play consistent ball. GO TIGERS!!!!

Which games were those? You are up in arms because we lost to memphis and USC in Overtime?
We lost to boise state on the road who was favored by 3
We lost to Memphis at home in OT. We were favored by 6
We lost to usc on the road in OT. We were favored by 1.5.
We lost to louisville on the road. They were favored by 4.

I don't see this Clemson team advancing very far into the tournament (assuming the make it) if they face an SEC team in the early rounds, given their struggles with a last place Skerlina earlier this season.
