Just remember we were excited years ago when we scheduled Wyoming and UConn. Look where they are now. Sane thing will happen to Oklahoma in 15 years. Calm down. Go Tigers

Great matchup.
I’m a little concerned as this is the first real mistake I’ve seen coming from “CU Athletic Communications” in the post-Bourret era.
The offense occurs in this sentence:
“The additions of these meetings between top programs in non-conference play are part of Clemson’s scheduling philosophy of supplementing its annual rivalry game against the University of South Carolina with additional non-conference contests against premier opponents.”
No one has ever alluded to UofScar as a “premier” opponent. This hideous error must be edited.

An equally egregious offense is saying that Frank Howard's Tigers lost to Okie in 1972. I was at Clemson during those dark days of Tiger football, and those Tigers belonged to Hootie. The best thing that happened during Hootie's tenure was the introduction of the TIGER PAW.
On a personal note, my friends and I began our winning tailgate setups in 1970. Next year we'll celebrate 50 years. How lucky we are to be in this Clemson family!!! Two of us had a Clemson parent, all of us had Clemson children, and in a few years we will have Clemson grandchildren.
