I disagree about this being the QB that we need, and for starters he is to short, and he won't be anywhere as productive against the taller college D and O-linemen. The D and O-linemen that he plays against at the HS level are not near as tall across the entire line of scrimmage as they will be at the college level.
IMO I hope that he declines our offer and chooses a school where he will fit and the D-lineman and O-lineman won't be near as tall as they will be across the entire line with most P-4 D-lines and O-lines. P-4 QBs shouldn't be under 6'3", 6'4", 6'5" OR 6'6" so they can see when receivers are about to get open, and that would be pretty difficult to see at 6'2" and under with most P4 D and O-lineman are 6'3" to 6'8" tall. IMHO regardless of how talented QBs are that are under 6'3" just isn't a good fit for most P4 teams when their D and O-lineman are Giants at the college level...

That's what I'm saying, and it would be a struggle for a 6' QB to operate behind linemen that are tall especially if our opponents have D-Linemen that are 6'3" plus on their D-Line. My guess is that it probably takes 3 may be 4 seconds for a college QB to get the ball out on a pass play, but also IMO it would take a 6' QB longer to get rid of the ball if his O linemen and the opponents D Linemen are 6'3" plus, it would take a 6' QB longer to find one of his open players bc he would have to move around to find a window that would allow him to find one of his open players. That is the very reason we seldom see an NFL QB that is 6' or less on an NFL team bc they have to leave the pocket to find an open team mate somewhere on the field!!!

With the height of the big uglies playing in the trenches these days, there is no place for QBs under 6'3"!!! Stepping up into the pocket for QBs under 6'3" will usually end with a sack and lost yardage!!!

Thank you. AOATT52 with another disparaging public comment against a recruit without considering all factors and data. This kid is probably still 16 and growing like you said. I wish this AOATT52 would get banned. He definitely doesn’t help any of our recruiting efforts, past or present.

Does anybody believe he's 6'0"? He might be so gifted his short stature isn't a hindrance though

His tape seems pretty good, lot's to work with. I can imagine him doing very well in Riley's offense.

I prefer a taller QB for the reasons mentioned but Bryce Young at Bama did pretty, and don’t forget this guy at Clemson:
