I hope that none of our fans get to happy about the #18 ranking bc if we lose to any of the teams we have left on our schedule, @ SMU, Notre Dame, @ Virginia, @ Boston College, or Virginia, rest assured that we will drop out of the top 25 to somewhere around #30-35. In fact, if we only win by 1 point in any of those games we probably drop to 26-27...

I figure there's some folks at LSV complaining about LSV being behind us at #25 despite beating us by 10? And being "tied" with us, despite holding the tie-breaker and actually being #2 seeds right now in ACCT while we're #3.
Needed to win that Ga Tech game! We'd be tied for 1st and hold tie-breaker over Duke for #1 seed!

If you actually took time to look at Kentucky's schedule to see that they have beaten Florida, Tennessee, Duke, A&M, Mississippi State, Louisville and Gonzaga, you would vote for them too.

I definitely agree with you on that. Kentucky should be higher. There's a reason we're only 26 net. We have 2 quality wins. I think some get too enamored with our q1 and q2 w/l ratio. But several of the q2 wins, while sound good, are not good wins. I'd call them avg wins. Pitt and Penn st. Honestly, we probably shouldn't be ranked as high. I know that's not a popular stance, but our sos is lacking.
Now, whether Kentuckys wins should be that good because sec team's rankings is a whole other discussion.

If head to head is the only factor then why is Duke #3?
What's more impressive is that Kentucky has played 5 of the top 8 seeds currently in the recent NCAA bracket release and they are 5-1 against those teams.
On the flip side, they have some poor losses that are somewhat due to the loss of their PG and backup PG.
