Didn't realize paino was leading in K's but could have guessed he was near the top. Ghesh, get past our 6 hole hitter and production falls off. Thought Ciufo might be leading in K's.

Hard to sit your HR leader but I'd give him at least a mid-week bench and play Castellani at 3rd. Maybe give him the nod for the west coast... although paino is from Cali, so maybe a trip there will get him going.

Our team era is actually better if you discard the 3 blowouts from the stats. Astounding when you consider how many different arms we've been forced to pitch with 2 mid-week games for a month. We're a good team.

Honestly, as far as 9-hole hitters go, I’m perfectly happy with Ciufo. He’s not the best batter in the world, but he’s a great fielder, has some decent power and speed, can make pitchers work, and has been clutch in big moments. He’s can definitely improve offensively, but I’m perfectly fine with him in the 9-hole

And he gets on base. That's the most important thing, especially at a 9 hitter.

Paino and Jarrell are the only 2 without at least .400% on-base.

Wow, here we go again. The SEC has 8 teams in the Top 10 and FSU and the Tigers are the ACC representatives. Just like in football and basketball that will change as the SEC teams play each other and the ACC will have more teams in the rankings.

I'd like to see Paino stay on the ball a little longer. Maybe stay to the right side in BP. Also might move up in the box a little to catch breaking balls sooner. I'm sure they're working on it.

The only ranked ACC teams left on our schedule are FSU and the Cards. Loss to ND looking worse every day. Need to sweep the Bears this weekend. Hate a 9:00 PM Friday start. Shocking how bad Miami's baseball team is. Too bad we don't play the Canes.
