IMHO, the only reason that Kelly had the winning record that he had at Notre Dame, it's because they pick the teams that they will play against every season, and that's the main reason that ND refuses to join a conference!!! Any decent HC can go there and have the same end of season record year after year...

This is highly unusual. I don't ever remember a coach making such a bombastic statement, even about a much less opponent. It just smacks of foolishness or a big lack of humility. He is going in as an underdog, so he is doubly foolish.

Words of a coach on the hot seat on his way out. A levelheaded coach says “we’re going to give it our best effort and try to get a win.”, not give the other team bulletin board material and insult the venue. Even Steve Spurrier knew better than that

Without any doubt Kelly is a pretty trashy individual to go on his radio show and say the things that he says without a second thought that he is talking crap about his opponent's FB program, their stadium, and actually the coaching staff also by saying things like it's going to be a great road win and we play in DV Jr. With what he says is the same as saying his road opponent is a pretty sad FB program along with their coaching staff. When that creep loses this game, I hope that their administration fires him in our locker room, if they don't, they are of the same character as he is!!!
