Yay. Congratulations Dylan. Hope you're serious about an education. Is this what @dhood was talking about for pitching help.
We have 3 pitchers committed that can play this season. Bell, Kieck, and Wilkie. Wilkie would start this season with consistent low to mid 90s but already proficient with 3 pitches. Nasty slider but I doubt he sticks.
We can do cartwheels all we want over these committed but unless they're here in August, can't get excited. It would be nice if our Clemson press Corp would give insight. Have any moved in etc

Do they expect Wilkie to get drafted high enough to sign? I really haven’t seen much draft buzz about him. My understanding was we have a few committed guys who are good enough to contribute next year but maybe not so good that they get poached by the draft.

If he does not sign a pro contract, he should be a great addition. Seems to have all the athletic potential to be another Babe Ruth.

I thought it was odd that he chose to commit to Hawaii first. Other than the obvious reasons, why Hawaii?

for football since they aren’t good enough/tough enough for good ‘ol boy Southern football. Is the same true for Clemson baseball? Or can we be excited about this?
