it is sad to know that BC didn’t get the benefit of a Coordinator that could have developed him, not only in the fundamentals of that position but also helped him “fine tune” his skill set. Unfortunately, he got just the opposite……regressing his last few years. Good luck in the NFL Big “B”…….Go Tigers…!!!! 🏈🏈🏈

The good thing boskeet, the pro teams realize how much talent BC has. Happy for him because I think we'll be seeing him in years to come. I think there's some truth to pride and mukuba when they hinted they weren't getting pushed enough... or something to that effect.
Hang on to Eason, Rumph, and Reed, get a good DC and a coach that can pull all of coaches together... add a linebacker and safety from the portal, we'll have a special year. Should have plenty of blowouts to get the kids like Dee humming by the end of the year run. Exciting times.

He could have tackled while in college. BC will be on a practice squad at best if he doesn't quit running into the OL and flail about or wrap up a tackle.

Just as I've said many times when Goodwin was hired that he wasn't a good hire. But bunch of our fans were all for him after his first season. I said then that with the talent that was on that D that one of the players coaching that D could have had just as good of a showing as Wes had and probably better than what it was with Goodwin.
A really good coach with any position group can coach up 2 and 3 star players that will most likely get drafted bc their coach had them playing like high 4 star college players at the end of their college career, and some would end up looking like high 5 star college players and that's the plus with hiring the best coaches that a HC can afford with the budget they have to work without cutting corners...

Plenty of talent at linebacker, but we need a coach that can develop that talent that translates to on field performance. Wes Goodwin did not develop the linebacker corps that well. Otherwise, we would not be seeing Sammy Brown play until this season.

Most years we were loaded at the position. We could lose all 3 starters and the next group would be just fine.
Now,..... I'm just hoping for no injuries and we pick 1-2 up in the portal b/c we have no depth.

really fast so i'm assuming its just bad angles and slow to recognize the play. He's had a ton of experience so he'll be better next year. He was better than Carter though. But Sammy was the best LB we had last year.

As I sit here watching a replay of the Texas game I'm asking myself, why do our guys, especially line backers take on the blockers and get consumed by them, instead of shedding them and attacking the ball carrier. The 3rd TD was a really good example of BC getting ate up. The 2nd TD BC shift3d with the man in motion and forced SB to move with him. Guess where the RB ran untouched for the score. You guessed it....right where BC had been. Maybe the fastest sideline to sideline, but definitely not the most intelligent on the field. Good luck with that BC.

I have no worries about Sammy Brown, but Woodaz was a liability in run support this season. Drifted into the LOS too much which took him out of plays, and he took atrocious angles to the ball. Maybe Jamal Anderson Jr. or Dee Crayton can step up.

Hopefully the kid coming in from Alabama is ready for a significant amount of playing time. He has a great opportunity.
The fact that we are this thin at LB is shocking. It's an indictment that HS level players were not interested in coming with WG at DC/LB coach. With two players coming off an ACL we need to pick up a few more LBs.

The good thing about Kubah-Taylor is that he is really fast and has all the size, speed, and strength to got done in those departments. We will see how he develops, but I feel good about his potential watching his film.
