I totally agree. We beat SMU so we should have been seeded just above them but tge thing that hurt us was that ridiculous loss to the coots. Also, the ACC it means less.

Who cares. I like our matchups. Texas is very winnable, and so is Arizona State. I'd rather play that bracket than Penn State and Boise. Plus if we can get through it, we have a chance at redemption vs UGA in Atlanta (which I boldly predicted Clemson vs UGA to begin and end the season and to split the games)

Simple explanation as to why SMU was seeded above Clemson. Going into the game they were ranked 8 and we were 17. After the game, we were not allowed to jump SEC teams, which included SC, Alabama, and Ole Miss; therefore, we only moved up 1 spot. By itself that was absurd, but in combination with SMU not dropping TOO far (down 2 spots) with a loss when others did not play (which I agree with) we just did not get close enough to them at 10 and 16 respectively to compare the head-to-head.

How is Clemson 13 and SMU 12? How does a team ranked 13 get in over a team ranked 12. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for Clemson but it just feels like they have an agenda. The top 12 teams should be in period!

As much as I don’t like the playoff expansion (4 more games, potentially, is a lot of injury risk for these college kids)… this looks very interesting. I don’t watch many non-Clemson games but I may watch most of these and very interested in the quarterfinal rounds.

No sense whining, we made her own bed with the loss to Louisville. We actually got a good draw as it turned out. Most important us whether we can find anyone who can plsy RB if our apparent TWO only can't go. NEXT we need to get in shape to play SECOND HALF D or find sone depth.
Our laid back PREVENT D last night nearly killed us. We have to pressure them and we have a chance.

I guess I'll need to be scarce around here for a while. This is not the match up that I wanted since it's my two favorite teams.
WE have a ton of speed, guys, but our QB sucks. Ewers and Klubnik are no strangers and they met for the Texas State championship one year with Klubnik winning that one. Our starting safety and Klubnik were high school teammates as well as our starting DE, Ethan Burke.
I expect the usual with WRs running free all night and our QB unable to get the ball to them. It's been a wee bit frustrating to have all that speed and talent and Ewers unable to get the ball to them.
Our saving grace has been our defense which is either the very best or in the top 2 defenses in the country.

sorry to confuse you. Ewers was good at one time, but after his injury he has lacked confidence. WE have a generational player sitting on the sidelines ready to go who will probably be the first guy taken when he comes out in the draft. He's got a better arm, and can run. Ewers is really slow.
If you get a chance to go, Austin is a lot of fun for a visit. I lived there twice, but rarely go back anymore because traffic is brutal.
