One win in the ACC tournament should secure us at least a 4-5 spot in the dance. If Dillon Hunter is out, Del Jones will need to really contribute. If we beat Louisville, we should get 3-4 spot and if we can win it all, we should be a 2-3 seed. Del Jones and Chauncy Wiggins will have to come up big for us, and Lakhin has to stay on the court.

I've been holding my tongue all season, but I've just got to say it: Grayson Mann is not a good reporter. Look at this story. If you didn't watch the game, you'd have no idea of how it went, other than the fact that SMU missed their last shot. He tells us that Clemson didn't score in the final minutes of the first half, but we have no idea what the halftime score was. The game was a "back-and-forth affair," he says, but how about some description of that: how many lead changes; when did Clemson take the lead for the last time; etc. We've got no sense of the flow of the game, the drama of the battle. Did Clemson squander a 30-point lead? Did the Tigers finish the game on a 12-0 run? You certainly can't tell from this article.
I don't like to criticize people who are trying hard, whether it's a player or a reporter. I've heard him speak. He's bright. I believe he can do this. I know he's young, but like a young player, he needs coaching. This is what editors are for. I know this isn't Sports Illustrated, and it's important to post results fast. But this kind of writing just isn't cutting it.

The article was posted 3 minutes after the game was over.... give him some grace. Must be hard to write an article so quickly after the end to get it out so the viewers can read it. Then it was a sprint to the locker room to be able to videotape the interviews and have good position so we can watch what the players said in post game after being up all day watching the other games so he and D Hood can give color commentary on today's matchup.
