The offense has to be the focus in practice and if someone is not producing so that points can be scored, then someone else has to be given the opportunity to better the offense.

You kids who have only known the days of everyone gets a trophy have no clue about football. All of the blaming the offense and the coaches junk is just so immature. Our defense gave up 4 straight touchdowns in the 2nd half so they share the blame. Football is a team game and we as a team, not as an offense.

That’s an asinine argument full of assumptions. Remember that when you assume you make an ### out of u and me. Most people on here are GenX and Boomers.
The defense played their tails off first half. Players get tired. The offense not sustaining drives was part of the issue again Saturday. Same thing last season. We obviously did not have depth that Jawga did either.
We didn’t run any of the new receivers out there until late 4th quarter for one play each. We saw Turner giving up on routes. We saw Randall being a liability. We saw Stellato taking up space. Brown didn’t play much. Williams was the only one that flashed at all.
We have to adapt to todays game. We have the money. We were 17th out of 131 schools in terms of NIL money available. We were on the low end of dollars used. We tend to use dollars to retain players in stead of attaining studs. Haynes King is a prime example. Evan Stuart, Juice Wells, and a laundry list of great wr’s would have helped us immediately. Don’t tell me they don’t fit culture. Many came from smaller schools and FCS that developed into blue chip players. Every team has the exact same route tree. Terminology changes. Not rocket science.
The on field product has been steadily trending down since 44-16 beatdown of Alabama. Losses have increased yearly while wins have decreased. The changes? Promotion from within. Not replacing transfers with transfers. Dabo hired the best position coaches money could buy. Now it’s the best ex player or buddy he can hire or promote into a position they have never coached before. Goodwin was an analyst. It shows. He was playing checkers while Jawga played chess.
Evolve or die. We’re watching slow death of a once elite program.

Exactly…the decline started in 2019..remember everyone asking what’s wrong with Trevor? He doesn’t look like the Trevor from last year, is he pushing too hard?..the decline started then and hasn’t stopped

The Entire Offense Owes The Defense an Apology🌞 The First "Turnover" Was By The Coaches....Clemson Won The Toss and Its A No Brainer🤔 U ALWAYS take the Ball to Begin 2nd Half...Always No Other Call🌞...Coaches! Now IF that had Happened....Begin 2nd half Down 6-0 and Clemson Drives/Scores goes up 7-6 Totally Different 2nd Half....COACHES!!!?

As I posted during the game, Georgia has it's usual huge and talented offensive line and they just dominated. I am not why we did not follow the lead of most ranked teams and feast on cupcakes.

It’s hard for a D to stay fired up when the other half of the team isn’t doing their job. Bobo made some nice half-time adjustments and came out and scored. No surprise there. We continued to flounder on offense and they blew us out. This is rinse and repeat from what we have seen the last 3 years.
If we are going to hold on to the elite talent we have Dabo better get the offense fixed. You can’t win games scoring 3 points. Kids want to win.
Zero creativity in play calling, leaving the best players on the side lines, mental mistakes, lack of effort (quitting on routes) etc. We weren’t even top 100 in offense last year and nothing has changed. We gave Mafah the ball only 6 times in the 1st half and had him returning kick-offs. I expected improved but we may have gone backwards.

A game we lost by 21 points.
This year, he said our mindset wasn’t good.
What’s up with our poor performance to start the season? What are we doing all offseason and in fall camp?!?

It’s hard to keep a good mind set when the offense is showing absolutely no signs of life

They went balls to the wall in the 1st half, but the offense not being able to move the ball and score points broke their spirit. I would like to see one change though. Jeadyn Lukus is not a man coverage corner, and I would love to see what Ash Hampton could do at that position. Lukus plays corner like a safety, so maybe you try him there.

Certainly the offense had no consistency so they didn’t scare the Georgia defense. With Clemson playing soft coverage it was a matter of time before they got exposed for this. Couldn’t believe we didn’t play press coverage so Wes must have been scared we would get beat deep. Giving up 447 yards won’t scare many offenses either. This next game against App State will show a lot and with the Tigers a 16.5 favorite don’t win by this or more it may be a difficult season so we shall see. GO TIGERS and get it together.

Mentality? Unacceptable… They’ve 8+ Months to prepare for not only Georgia, but the entire season. This is the second straight season. Carter has basically said the team wasn’t ready for first game.
