Our Military has a $800,000 Billion+ annual budget. Many times over what any other country spends. Russia is NO match for our Military. We have secret weapons that would take out Russia is they so choose to hit us first with Nukes. Mutual destruction as it is called. But in non Nuke tactics, they are no match for our Military. If the US were to be a ruthless killer. That is what stopped the NK SK war. The US became a ruthless killer of Chinese. The Military has not suffered under Obama. Still the greatest fighting machine ever built. We choose not to get bogged down in the Middle east for good reasons. Bush destroyed Iraq in the process of trying to save it. Russia is doing the same in Syria. Russia is doing what is told us not to do in Iraq. The Middle east is just a religious quagmire for any country trying to save it from itself.
Now we spend a fortune on the Military is a fact!! Most so on equipment than the men and women who fight the wars. Over charged for that equipment btw
So we are a great fighting machine. What could the Trump do to make us better when we are already a great Military power? In destroying you are creating instability in the process as the Bushes found out. Terror groups and Religious extremist love instability. They move right in. Chaos is good for them. Unhappy shot at folks are good for them
So about this Budget deficit problem. Country budget deficits are not like household deficits. We have a $16 trillion economy. Read the Wall Street Journal to understand the difference. Remember what the Republican motto is--"Deficits don't matter" In fact Reagan got the deficit ball rolling with his build up of the Military. Remember him bringing all those moth balled ships back in service? That cost a lot of money. He started borrowing to out spend the Soviet Union in the Military department.
Reagan also boost the Homeless problem. He turn a lot of the mentally ill patients out on the streets. Made it harder to commit the mentally ill to hospitals. Yea Boost the Military and put insane people on the street for budget reasons. Brilliant--NOT!
So about Obama care. Republicans have also tried to solve the health care problem. The Problem is that not many can afford health care without high dollar Insurance. Our entire health care system is built on making profits. A LOT of people are self employed and are not helped with health care cost by an employer. A lot work part time and the same thing happens. A lot have low paying jobs that provide no help with health care. A lot are mentally ill and/or disabled and have no help with health care. A lot have no jobs with no health care. Health Insurance companies now provide free preventive check ups for their customers. Health Insurance companies NOW want to prevent you from getting a major illness. This saves them money in the long run. In the long run Obama care will Prevent many people from getting major illnesses. This saves the health care system a fortune. This also keeps people from becoming a burden to society. This keeps people working instead of lying is bed with Cancer etc. People who could not afford our high dollar health care now go see a doctor on a regular basis. They can now afford to take medicines. This can prevent them from getting a major illness. This can prevent them from going to the Emergency room. This can prevent Hospitals from having to treat them for free. Hospitals hate to treat people for free. Hospitals cannot afford to treat people for free. Hospitals pass along the cost to those who can pay. At least most Obama can people are paying into the system. Now at least there are preventive measures in place that will save the health care system a lot of money in the long run. The system was breaking down. Insurance companies still make a fortune. But they have stock holder and CEOs that want to make even more so they jack up their prices, They know the system was broke. They know prevention is best. They know the free emergency room system was not working financially for Hospitals. How many know somebody who got sub standard treatment in a hospital emergency room?.
So now you get a major illness and cannot work. Your company eventually lets you go. In SC you can be let go for ANY reason. Who is going to pay your Insurance premium now? Who is going to pay that $250,000 hospital bill? You can have good Insurance and be dropped after awhile of having a major illness like Cancer. You can easily run up a $Million + bill fighting Cancer. Many sick people have to also fend off bill collectors
This country is also cutting back on medicare. Elderly have to put doctor and hospital bills on credit cards. Have to pay for medicare supplemental insurance. Medicare and medicaid can cover a fraction of the bills most of the time.
So who are we going after to make this country great again? Not the $800,billion Military. Not the High paid Corporate CEOS. Not the Corps like Donald Trump who pay no taxes. The Donald would be going after his own people. The rich and famous find many ways to pay little or no taxes.
People blame Illegals for our problems. Ignore that there are 20000+ US companies just over the border in Mexico. They want cheap labor among other things. There are 1000s of US companies in China, India etc. Entire US industrial parks in those countries. Here companies sub out work to other countries. Trump has been a part of this system of GREED!! Chinese people paid so low that there are suicide nets around their work buildings. Our companies sub out work to these low paying places.
But who are many blaming for all our problems? The poor, elderly, illegals, Obama care people
Still a great country. Great military power, $16 trillion economy. Greenville for example has 4.9% unemployment right now. That is pretty good. The Job market is pretty good in our area right now. Why not blame Companies for not paying better wages?
Trump has had it easy all his life. Daddy gave him a Million dollars to start of with. The country has been great to him. He has had no reason to study up on the real problems we have--and it shows!!!

approved by a Republican controlled congress. Obama rarely if ever got enough Dems on board to get anything approved. Obama let a committee of Republicans and Dems work up the Obama Health care plan. Their the ones who water it down. Congress controls the budget strings. Congress has to approve the budget. Congress skirts blame by numbers. They hide in groups.
Do you know why Abortion was made legal? Because many women were using unsafe home remedies to abort. Many doctors were using unsafe ways to help women abort. Women were willing to pay and risk their lives to get this done. You're not going to stop abortions through legislation. Where there is a will there is a way as the old saying goes.
There is no way guns will ever be taken away from us either. No will for anyone to try and do that. Just a silly political scare tactic that works every time
