Cade definitely has this game circled considering Street & Dabo didn't put him in the best position last season in SB. FSU & ND will get our best in the Valley. Good bet, worse case scenario a push imo. Go Tigers!!!

every team coming to Death Valley this year will study the defensive issues the Tigers had when the dirtpeckers broke their home winning streak. There are too many reasons from the coaching to the players to rehash that fiasco from last year. Offense should be better this year and the defense has to stand up bigger than last year. Just have to get through summer practice and all the coach speak and put the proof on the field game by game.

The D was not the primary reason for the Scar loss. Not continuing to run the ball and not replacing DJ with Cade and doing stupid stuff on special teams are why we lost that game. The D kept us in it for godsake.

that's correct on not running the ball in the 2nd half with Shipley and DJ being the train wreck he was but for the defense to give up 415 total yards to 2nd tier lamecock team will never cut it.

We had TWO options to beat the coots in our last game against them and Dabo didn't use either, 1st and smartest option was to keep the ball in Shipley's and Mafah's hands that he chose not to do, or he could have stood DJ next to him and put Cade in. Dabo chose not to do either, he chose to give the coots the win in our house, and that was one of the stupidest mistakes that Dabo has made since becoming our head coach!!!!

If we get clicking on offense, we can give up 31 points and still win.
Thinking about the first year we got to the CFP NC game, we finished the year with a 37-32 win over the unranked coots. Should it have been that close? Probably not, but we got the win, because we had an offense that could do something.
If our offense would have been one drive better in 2022, we don't lose that game.
Now in our losses to UT and ND, we needed more than just one additional score. I do expect both our offense and defense to be better this next year. I don't think teams will learn much from studying last year's tape...that defense better be overhauled as much as the offense. Time will tell.

I just like the fact that the last decade now we can just say "*insert names* is going to be a QB's worst nightmare." Something about our d-line consistently being an absolute unit makes me feel good.
