Time for some optimism

I admit that this is intended as a pawsitive post. I figure there’s already plenty of doom and gloom posts and posters (I know, you’re realists, so everything you say is correct, until it isn’t).

I think our defense can win it for us if we manage the game offensively and eliminate turnovers.

SMU’s pass defense is truly horrendous. They even gave up a ton ( or at least more than they should have) to SE Mo St, E Texas, Stanford , and Cuse, after their QB1 got hurt

This plays into their run defense looking OK, because why run it if you can pass for more

Per Sagrin, their schedule is rated 91st. We’re 25.

My biggest concern is their QB. He gave us fits last year. I think us containing their QB is more important to the outcome than them containing ours.

None of the above means we still won’t get our butz handed to us, but I’m going to predict a win. Feel free to come back and laugh at me or give a TD. It won’t bother me in the least, and I’ll be back to predict a win over Duke in 2 weeks.

Agree with everything you said. Now the Tigers just have to go out and execute.
