Tough game tonight for the Tigers vs the Virginia Cavaliers. Early on it was apparent that the VA style of offense AND defense was a style of play that the Clemson Tigers could not handle. Should they have been prepared? Maybe, but the problem lies in coaching not player skill. The Clemson team can match up well with any team in the country with size and athleticism. BUT, style of play is crucial. COACHING forms the style of play and this is where Clemson struggles. The head coach at Clemson is a proven coach at two levels with winning at least 50% of his games and sometimes giving fans great optimism. (picture fans heads on a yoyo) Sometimes a coach enters a situation that he is not prepared for but has confidence because he has won 50%(:) of his games. That situation is one in which the opponent is better coached and better prepared. The opponent had a better coach tonight which resulted in a winning style of basketball.

Clemson does not have a coach that can take them to the next level.
