Tiger Highway Patrolman

Jun 20, 2016, 10:50 AM

Yesterday I was coming home and was at the bottom of a hill. The speed limit was 55. I was going 74. Next thing I know, bam !...blue lights. All I had to say to myself was "d@mn !" I knew I just lost about $150 bucks.

As the patrolman inched up to my car I noticed this large familiar gold ring. The Clemson ring. I know the man must have seen my IPTAY sticker on my truck along with the IPTAY tag. I didn't mention Clemson or anything else.

He gave me a warning and said "slow down for me."

I said "Yes Sir" to myself and "Go Tigers" in my mind !

They're out there, definitely. I got pulled over after a long day on Woodruff Rd. by a Clemson man before the national championship. Gave me a warning, said "stop driving like an a$$hole" and then gave me a "Go Tigers!"

This is all fine and good, just better hope when you get pulled over at almost 20mph over, it's not by the other side.??

Doing 87 in 70 area in Miata convertible near Rock Hill, and he was official, then after giving me deserved $60 ticket he asked me what I thought the TiGERS would do in the Fall.

He probably went through with it and gave you a ticket for..

being male Clemson fan driving a convertible Miata. You might have let him down.

Sounds discriminatory...probably wouldn't happen today.

Cops don't single out people anymore just because they believe them to be homosexual.

Probably gave the ticket because you were driving a Miata!

I'm a CSU grad

And got pulled over in Charleston. I have a Charleston southern sticker on my back windshield and got pulled over for about 15 over. Cop gave me a warning because he's a CSU grad too. I said go bucs to him. Haha

I have a Delorean, and always drive 88 MPH just in case I need to set the clock back a couple of minutes. Works like a charm.

Are you going to slow down like he asked?**

I bought a BMW from my brother who lives in Tennessee.

Jun 20, 2016, 4:06 PM

I rode back with him when he visited us in SC and drove the car home. This happened back in 2003 or 4. He had bought another car and was having the tag on the Bimmer trans to his new car so I decided to drive without a tag. I couldn't buy a temporary TN tag due to being a resident of SC.

While clicking along on Hwy 64 E doing about 70 I saw the lights in the mirror. I pulled over and was approached by a State Trooper. Another trooper walked up to the passenger door. I was asked to step out of the car which I did without emotion or hesitation.

He asked for an explanation for me driving without a tag and I explained. He said 'You can't operate a vehicle in TN without a tag.' I told him I didn't know. The other guy asked if he could look in the trunk. I told him sure, 'We'll look together, I just bought the car from my brother and there might be the remnants of my ex sister in law in there. Just push the button, unless it's broken it will open itself.' They were not amused.

As he dug around in the trunk I took off my paw cap and stared at the Paw. When I looked up at them they were watching me. I explained that it wasn't my fault Fulmer thought trick plays would win that game and they both broke out in laughter and told me to get my ### out of Tennessee until I got a tag for that car.

My uncle got killed at the bottom of a hill by a guy going 20 over. He was just trying to deliver Meals on Wheels.

Do you have the officer's name? I'd like to turn him in for dereliction of duty. Thanks in advance!
