In one poll and 4 in a couple others… this team is very fun to watch and like I said a week or so ago In a post the only thing imo this team still needs to find or develop is that go to closer to shut the door in some of these games. But the fight in these last two Bakich teams is just night and day in what we saw under Lee. This team has a chance to be very special if we stay healthy and get cam fully healthy.

Clemson appears to have gotten a coaching gem in Bakich. Perhaps they'll reach the CWS this year. Things look pretty good so far for this baseball team.

I’ve kinda said the same thing. We need to find three reliable starters that can hold teams under two runs. I know that’s a lot to ask but the bats can’t always be leaned upon to win a game. Especially in post season, a legit ace with around 1 ERA can negate great hitters. We’re starting to find out who can throw scoreless innings and slam the door. Exciting team to watch. Even my wife was getting into the game yesterday.

I won’t take away from montes players. His first 2 teams were notorious for coming back, especially late innings. Until his “we ear pressure like it’s candy” comment. Then it became what you referenced

Great to see. I thought our bullpen showed some toughness in tight situations to help the team win. Our offense has been a pleasure to watch so far this year. I'd love to see a lockdown closer emerge, but applaud the effort.
2 of 3 on the road in conference against a top 5 team is solid!

Did you wake up ok this morning ? It absolutely matters bc we are now a top 5 team so you falter (which will prob happen it’s baseball) and lose a few we prob barely fall out the top 10 where as if it happens when you are barely ranked or In the top 20 it makes it tougher especially if you playing for a national seed which this team def is… so yea rankings absolutely matter if this team wants to compete for a national seed.

Nowhere did I say it did but would you rather have a national seed or not … smart one lol yes you absolutely would the chances of making go up but yes it’s a sport nothing is guaranteed but if you have option a to play for a national seed and the road to Omaha goes through Clemson , or option b just make it and have to travel in a regional and super, just about halfway logical person with any sense is going with option a im sorry, your argument is absolutely invalid it matters If you are playing for seeding bc if you are ranked you have beat some good teams.

Well for one they are players and coaches and we are fans ….. but hey you’re right why be excited about climbing rankings , hell why watch until the last game of the year then to see where we are… part of the ride and enjoyment which maybe you should try sometime. I for one am excited about this team and being back nationally relevant. Go Tigers !

I mean it’s cool to being nationally ranked but it ain’t everything and a long journey. I’m a fan yes but I have played this game and coach today still. Sorry if I’m thinking like a coach and how most people with sense would think. I mean all I’m seeing is omg we’re ranked this or we’re ranked that. I’ve seen it too many times where it can be a distraction. Not saying it will and I doubt it will because of what’s been installed but man I know the players and staff aren’t worried. We are a storied program and we have been there before many of times. Not lately but we have before. We aren’t new to this. Ask wake what number one means? They have slipped. They will most likely climb back. South Carolina was ranked high and guess what now? I’m just saying let’s not celebrate too hard like some are.

And I never said crown is national champs bc of it , it’s just exciting to see how quickly the program has risen back and if being ranked inside the top 5 doesn’t make you happy then there’s another sight you can go hang around on and be happy about womens basketball 🤦♂️
