And when MTV launched and videos were NOT Journey's element. Most were painful to watch, but Perry's voice has always been stout!

Journey's Popularity really took off when Perry Joined and They Toured Like Crazy. The early Videos were more about extra exposure and having fun. 1983's Separate Ways Video is a Prime Example. 1981's Escape, along with Clemson Football ball, Reached new heights in the Fall of 1981!
