By no means am I putting the game on the officials, we were just plain bad BUT...
I must admit, I do enjoy conspiracy theories. Is it too far off base to think the ACC could be retaliating for the "no", vote concerning SMU, Cal and Stanford?
We have seen bad officiating before but it seems like some of these calls are so far out of left field that someone, somewhere, has said, "If you can get away with calling it, call it."
Since we are out of the playoff picture, the ACC as a whole, has no reason or desire to see us thrive.

Outside of the roughing the passer call the officials were fine.

Only the second one was a bad call. The first one is a bad rule but not a bad call.

It's not my fault you don't know the rules. Hit the QB in the head after they've released the ball and it's RTP. That's the rule.

The rule is the rule. You cannot hit the QB in the head, even with just a hand, after the ball is thrown. It's been that way for #### near a decade.
