Has us as a 4 seed hosting College of Charleston...potential 2nd round matchup at UGA. Indiana is also in our bracket as a 3 seed.
In this edition, GT does not even make the NIT. Syracuse is a 1 seed. As a reminder, schools that win their conference regular season but lose in their tournaments have an automatic NIT bid if they don't get into the NCAA.

We Clemson fans made fun of the Chickens Birimingham Bowl. The game meant nothing. This NIT bid is the same. Accept the bid of course for more practice time. The players we need for this program will be watching the NCAA tournament. At one time an NIT title meant something. It doesn't now.

After 7 years? We are an ACC team. We should make at least the NIT every year. I'm passionate about Clemson football and get enough information. I'm so proud of what Monte Lee is doing in baseball. Why not basketball? The administration is giving lip service to its support of basketball. If they don't care about improving the program,why should the fans? Apathty among the fans is the worst thing that can happen to an athletic program.

Maybe if you lose in the first round, it's like the worst bowl. If you get to the Garden, it's probably like winning the Belk Bowl

NIT bid. Save $$$$, Stay home, work on your education and just start practice whenever it's time. Doubt it will help much but practice, practice practice. Just remember..."sprinkles are for winners"-Flo, the Progressive commercials.
