What's even more surprising is how loosely the word committed is being used throughout college sports these days. It would seem they would pick another fraise to use bc committed doesn't fit well anymore when speaking about players in college sports!!!

Agent probably told him to go and build his brand, try to get a big $$$ from next transfer after a decent 18 ppg and 5-6 ap there. Thats the only thing I would think.

And Radford is a major party school. Build the brand for next year and party along the way, Del clearly has priorities.

Wish him the best, but have to wonder if he and maybe others realized his limitations.

Good luck Del!

Radford has a new coach Zach Chu (don't say gazunhit) an SMU assistant has a lot of experience in the NBA so maybe why Del made that move.

He has potential for sure.

But people acting like he is a superstar we couldn’t afford to lose are being dramatic. He is a 4 point per game scorer who shot a low percentage and often played out of control. We should be able to do better in the portal.

Just a guy who was rated as high as the #66 overall player and #7 point guard coming out of HS. Also a solid contributor who showed a lot of upside in his freshman year. Not really like losing a guy who had to redshirt, but nice try.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Again, he has potential and he is someone I would have liked to keep.

But the reality is that he averaged under 4 points per game in about 12 minutes of action on average, 40% shooting overall and 31% on three. His assist to turnover ratio is about 1:1. Plus he was often erratic and out of position.

These are not earth shattering numbers. We can improve on this production in the portal.

If you disagree, and believe this is a huge loss, why did he end up at Radford and not a top program?

Even Chauncey Wiggins, who many people here grew to dislike and acted like was horrible, ended up at Florida State. What does that tell you?

Tells me your post on the thread about Feagan transferring was yet another typical weak troll attempt. But then again we already knew that. You pointed out his HS rankings in that post to make it sound like a significant loss since he redshirted and there was no production as a freshman you could use. In this case you criticize a freshman who contributed significant minutes to make his loss look like no big deal. Your irrational bias against the football program is obvious.

We also don't know what CBB said to him or even if CU wanted him back. Maybe CBB told him to move on as he does t see him developing. As a fan we never have the entire story and facts. With him luck and all the best.
