This is our Crossroads game. Several times in the past few

years, we have stood at the door of greatness, and failed to kick it in. Bowl wins are nice, but if you are "only" in a bowl, it means you missed out on the ultimate prize. It still grates the hell out of me every time they show Crusty Crab Legs in the locker room saying "We ain't leaving here without a victory", and then backing it up, big time, against us, with the whole nation watching. Well, the whole nation will be watching again tomorrow, and it is time for a different outcome. This is one time I hope Dabo does not call off the dogs until the final gun.

I am with you. This game is our first of several like it in the sense that we must win and do so convincingly if the world is to recognize the program as having arrived at the next level. It is odd that we find this to be so true against a winless team, but we saw last year that Louisville, though beatable, will not permit mistakes from us .
Someone here predicted 51-17. I've no idea how they came up with this and do not expect something so one sided. But a convincing win is a must here.

I already can't concentrate at work today, let alone tomorrow... I agree, we must win pretty convincingly to maintain some credibility going into the meat of our schedule. I'm predicting DW goes off and throws/runs for 4+ TDs. Peake needs to have another big game - my only issue with him from last week is that one (well thrown) pass down the sideline - if he had just laid out somewhat, he surely could have snagged it (similar to Mike Williams catch against NC State last year; but he isn't #7). Excited... #allin
